Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing our lunch delivery service. Our goal is to provide fresh, nutritious, and affordable meals with reliable service. By placing an order or subscribing to one of our meal plans, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. Pricing

The following prices apply to lunch delivery services:

Free delivery is discretionary and subject to feasibility.

  • Weekly Lunch Delivery Subscription:  FREE delivery to schools within our supply footprint per week. R 350,00 per week.
  • Monthly Lunch Delivery Subscription: FREE delivery to schools within our supply footprint per week. R 1250,00 per month.

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Prices are subject to change at any time. Customers will be notified in advance of any price changes affecting existing subscriptions. Updated pricing will apply from the next billing cycle unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Additional delivery charges may apply for deliveries outside the standard service area or for special delivery requests when applicable.


2. Ordering

This only applies once individual orders are open.

Orders may be placed through our approved ordering channels.

An order is only confirmed once payment has been received, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed to in writing.


3. Subscription Plans

Weekly Subscription

  • Includes one lunch per school or business day.
  • Payments must be made in advance before the beginning of the next week, cut off will be on Saturdays at 9am.
  • FREE delivery to schools within our supply footprint and to selected areas.

Monthly Subscription

  • Includes one lunch per school or business day.
  • FREE delivery to schools within our supply footprint per week.
  • Payment must be made in advance before the start of each month, cut off will be the Saturday at 9 am before the new month begins.

4. Delivery

Delivery is available within the designated delivery area.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather conditions, school schedules, road closures, load shedding, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Someone must be available to receive the order at the agreed delivery location.


5. Missed Deliveries

If no one is available to receive the order at the agreed delivery location and time, the order will be considered delivered.

Refunds, replacements, or credits will not be issued for missed deliveries caused by customer unavailability or incorrect delivery information.


6. Payments

Payment must be made using the approved payment methods.

Late or unpaid accounts may result in:

  • Suspension of deliveries.
  • Cancellation of subscriptions.
  • Refusal of future orders until all outstanding amounts have been settled.

7. Cancellations

Individual Orders

Orders may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time.

Weekly & Monthly Subscriptions

Cancellation requests must be received before the start of the next billing period.

No refunds will be issued for meals that have already been prepared or delivered.


8. Menu Selection & Order Changes

The menu consists of set meals, and individual meals cannot be customised or altered.

Customers may not request substitutions, ingredient changes, or alternative meals once an order has been placed.

Where applicable, customers may advise of allergies or dietary requirements before placing an order. However, we cannot guarantee that alternative meals or substitutions will be available.

Changes to delivery details, learner information, or other order information must be communicated at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery. While every effort will be made to accommodate such changes, they cannot be guaranteed after meal preparation or delivery arrangements have been finalised


9. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Every effort is made to accommodate dietary preferences where possible.

However:

  • Meals are prepared in a kitchen that may handle common allergens including dairy, eggs, gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, sesame, and other allergens.
  • An allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.
  • Customers are responsible for informing us of any allergies or dietary requirements before placing an order.

10. Menu Availability

Menu items may change without notice due to seasonal availability, supplier shortages, or unforeseen circumstances.

Where necessary, similar ingredients or menu items may be substituted while maintaining the overall quality and nutritional value of the meal.


11. Delivery Area

Delivery is available within the designated service area.

When applicable deliveries outside the standard service area may incur an additional delivery fee.


12. Refund Policy

Refunds will only be considered where:

  • An order cannot be fulfilled.
  • An incorrect meal is delivered due to our error.
  • A genuine quality concern is reported on the day of delivery.

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Personal taste preferences.
  • Missed deliveries due to customer unavailability.
  • Incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer.

13. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to prepare meals safely and deliver them on time, no liability will be accepted for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, traffic incidents, supplier shortages, road closures, load shedding, or other force majeure events.


14. Privacy

Personal information collected from customers will only be used to process orders, manage subscriptions, arrange deliveries, and communicate regarding services.

Customer information will not be sold or shared with third parties except where required to complete an order or where required by law.


15. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order or subscribing to a lunch delivery service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

16. Food Safety & Storage

Every effort is made to ensure that meals are prepared, packaged, and transported in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Once a meal has been delivered, responsibility for its safe storage and consumption passes to the customer, parent/guardian, school, or designated recipient.

Meals should be consumed on the day of delivery. If a meal is not eaten immediately, it should be refrigerated as soon as possible and stored according to safe food handling practices.

No responsibility will be accepted for the quality or safety of meals that have been improperly stored or handled after delivery.


17. School Deliveries

School deliveries will be made to the agreed delivery location or designated collection point as arranged with the customer and, where applicable, the school.

It is the responsibility of the customer or parent/guardian to ensure that:

  • The correct learner name, grade, and school are provided when placing an order.
  • The school permits external food deliveries where applicable.
  • Any changes to school schedules or learner attendance are communicated in advance.

If a learner is absent on the day of delivery, the meal will still be delivered to the agreed location unless alternative arrangements have been made at least 24 hours in advance.

No refunds or credits will be issued for meals delivered to the agreed location when a learner is absent or unable to collect the meal.

While every effort will be made to ensure timely delivery, delivery times may vary due to school procedures, traffic conditions, weather, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
